Deference

“Deference” was inspired by a poem I wrote some time ago, and it originally had the name “Guiding Us.” But then I sat and looked at my completed work, and I looked out of my studio window and saw a sunrise that looked eerily similar to my painting, and a new poem arose within me. I’ve titled this work after that poem, which on its surface, is about deferring to the trees in their steady wisdom, as they sing about all the sunrises that have come before. It is layered with texture, marks, soft transitions and colors, and is full of meaning and heart. This piece was meant for someone who can take their queues from nature and breathe in peace.

Framing
All items are shipped without a frame unless specifically stated otherwise. All artwork on canvas is wired and ready to hang.
Return/Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel an item before it has shipped, you may do so at any time without penalty. Simply send a message through the contact page.
If an item has shipped and for some reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return the item within 30 days, no questions asked. You will be responsible for the return shipping costs and insurance. Insurance is highly recommended, as a refund will only be provided upon receipt of the item, and only if the item is returned in its original condition, without damage.
